Rayzilla's Dreamboat to open for Acme Jazz Garage at Lowry Park

Tampa, Florida-- Get ready for two hours of free jazz music as the Friday Extra Concert Series heads to the Heights.

On May 3rd, Rayzilla's Dreamboat will open up for Acme Jazz Garage at the Lowry Park Bandshell.

The show starts 7 p.m. and will tun until 9.

And this is just the beginning! The Friday Extra Concert Series will continue at Lowry Park through May.

Summer Muscial Auditions in Carrollwood

Carrollwood, Florida - The Carrollwood Cultural Center's in-house theatre group, MAS Community Theatre, will hold open auditions for its summer musical, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, on Sunday, May 5 at 5 p.m. and Monday, May 6 at 7 p.m.

Rehearsals will begin Monday, May 13 at 7pm. The show will run at the Center, located at 4537 Lowell Road in Tampa, for two weekends: July 12-14 and July 19-21. The show is being directed by Craig Hartfield with musical director Mary Jo Hahn.

The singer/songwriter, best known for Society's Child and At Seventeen, won a GRAMMY earlier this year in the category of Best Spoken Word Album for her autobiography, Society's Child.
