Armed robbery at Burger King off of Hillsborough Ave. | Crime

Tampa, FL-- Tampa Police officers responded to an Armed Robbery that took place at a Burger King off of W. Hillsborough Ave. shortly after 3 a.m. Thursday.

According to reports, the interior of the restaurant was closed to the public, but there were two female employees working the drive-through window, when two men used a large piece of concrete to shatter the glass of the locked doors.

The suspects then walked inside shouting "Give us the money", as one waved a gun at the employees.

Both of them stole cash from the register and quickly fled the scene, police say. 

Police say the suspects are both black males, who wore all dark clothing and black ski masks.

There were no injuries.
