Tampa, Florida-- Lowry Park's ZooBoo is back for its 14th year with five "hair-raising" haunts for the whole family!
The fun kicks off September 28 and 29, and tickets are just $10 a person.
Their recent release explains all of the "tricks" and "treats" up their sleeve this year:
"Zombies, ghosts and ghouls, oh my! ZooBoo is spooking soon with five hair-raising haunts including the newest alarming attraction, “Wake the Dead,” where the creepy residents refuse to rest in peace. Tampa’s largest family Halloween event, made possible by Bank of America, opens with “Shriek Peek” preview weekend September 28 and 29 for just $10 per person, ages three and up. The Zoo’s signature spooktacular event continues October 5-7, 11-14, 18-21 and 25-28.
In 2012, guests can celebrate ZooBoo’s 14th year of fun and fear with haunted houses and trails, seasonal displays and lights, creepy crawlers, mysterious music, a specialty gift shop, night rides and eerie adventures for “monsters” of all ages. When the darkness descends, venture into the newest spooky spot, Wake the Dead, a ghostly graveyard that will send shivers down your spine.
The haunted attractions at ZooBoo are designed to provide a frightening experience for those who choose to participate, without depicting violence or gore. Extensive decorations, animatronics, lights, sound effects, and costumed character actors* (volunteers) in designated haunts, scare up a good time.
Children (ages 11 and under) are invited to come to ZooBoo in their most spooktacular attire. Toy weapons of any sort will not be permitted. For the comfort and safety of all guests, adults (ages 12 and older) are prohibited from wearing masks, wigs, face paint or costumes of any kind. "
