Suspect charges $12,000 on stolen credit cards | News

Tampa, Florida-- Hillsborough deputies are currently looking for a woman who stole a victim's credit cards and racked up $12,000 worth of charges.
According to reports, it was between noon and 2 p.m. on January 24 when the suspect stole three cards and a driver's license from a purse inside the victim's office at the Aston Gardens Retirement Community.
Later that same day, the woman reportedly used the cards at six different stores in the Bay area including the Macy's at Westfield Citrus Park Mall, The Jewelry Exchange off of Beaumont Center Blvd., Nordstrom's at International Plaza, a local Best Buy, the HH Gregg off of Commerce Palms Drive, and then at the TGI Friday's in New Tampa.
The suspect has been described as follows:
- Hispanic female
- 30-40 years of age
- Approximately 5'6"-5'8"
- 140-165 lbs.
- Medium build
- Black hair
- Brown eyes
- Last seen wearing a yellow blazer, red shirt, dark pants and black sandals
Officials ask anyone with any information on the suspect to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 813-247-8200.
