With the holidays just around the corner, many of us are scrambling for great recipes to top our tables this season, and Sam's Club is here to help!

According to a release sent out Friday, Sam's will host 'A Taste of Sam's Club' from November 16 through November 18 from noon to 5 p.m.- where they say customers may "try before you buy."

Tampa, FL-- Many County government offices will be closed in observance of Veterans Day on November 12, but Hillsborough County Animal Services says they are offering special holiday hours and a Pets For Vets special to honor those who serve our country.

From 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Animal Services will offer half-priced pet adoptions to all active or retired military members - the Pets For Vets special. Adoption fees include spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchip, Hillsborough County registration tag, and veterinary health check.

Hillsborough Co., FL-- Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority (HART) will offer free rides to commuters who show a valid military I.D. on Veteran's Day- Sunday, November 11. 

According to HART, the free rides are for retired military members, active duty military members, and family members/dependents of a military member, though the promotion is not valid for use of HARTPlus service or the TECO Line Streetcar System.
